Father, Forgive Them...

I have spent much of my life of prayer at the foot of the cross listening to Jesus and simply being there with him in those last hours of his life. I would like to share some of what I have "seen" and "heard" as I stood there with him. Every Friday throughout Lent, I invite you, if you wish to join me, to stand by my side and meditate on one of the seven last words of Jesus. Here is the first meditation.

Father, forgive them; they do not know what they are doing. Luke 23,34
