What is on your mind?

I keep looking over my shoulder waiting for the long arm of Facebook to come and pull me off their platform. Eventually, they will discover my reprobate postings and do just that. Every time I sit down to write something on their Website, they invite me to tell them what is on my mind. There is a rebellious spirit within me that refuses to do that. I would rather write what is in my heart.

If I were to obey Facebook and do as they prompt me, my posts would all look something like this:

“Did I take my pills this morning, or did I forget to do that… again? I should be out taking a walk rather than sitting here writing this. What should I take out from the freezer for dinner? Is there anything missing that I need to get from the store? Oh yes, I remember, I do have to get that… I haven’t cleaned the kitchen yet… get up and go do that right now... I’m back! The kitchen is done and, thankfully, so is this post, my last attempt ever to tell Facebook what is on my mind and to try to redeem myself in their eyes."
